Vowels ≠ Letters
When asked to name vowels, most people say
“A, E, I, O, U and sometimes Y”…
but this is not correct!! Vowels are NOT letters.
Vowels are speech sounds which may be spelled-out using:
Letter /Gg/ (spells vowels and consonants)
Letter /Hh/ (spells vowels and consonants)
Letter /Rr/ (spells vowels and consonants)
Letter /Ww/ (spells vowels and consonants)
Letter /Yy/ (spells vowels and consonants)
Now you know.
